Big 4 for E4

2021 Capital Projects

Each year Mission E4 chooses our top four priority building projects that we work to accomplish throughout the year.

Learn more about our 2021 projects below, and if you're so inclined, donate to help us get to completion!

Lafferonnay Elementary School

This 8700 square foot school building will provide large individual classrooms and a spacious open-air, covered meeting area for 350 children (K-6). Currently Mission E4 has ten schools that provide Christian education for more than 3000 students in the impoverished country of Haiti.

The foundation has been laid. Four of the ten, 20’x20’ classrooms are completed. The bathrooms and wash sinks are finished at this location. We have $65,000 left to raise to complete this project.

Improvements to Haiti Orphanages

Specifically, we will be making improvements at our orphanages in Leogane, Fauche and Batso. These improvements include tiling, electrical upgrades, interior and exterior painting, bedframes, mattresses, and more. The planned investment into our orphanage buildings in 2021 is $70,000.

Center for Community Development - Worcester, MA

Over 2018, 2019, and 2020 we purchased four plots of land in the heart of the city. During phase 1 and 2 of the remodeling project, we renovated an old, run-down pizza place into a new, inviting café. We are building a three-story stair tower, will complete a 1,600 square foot deck, and are working to enclose the property with new fencing.

In 2021, we will complete phase 3. This will include finishing the process of bringing the “Recreation House” and “Learning Lab” up to ADA standards. Additionally, we will be replacing all the windows, doors, and the kitchen counter tops at the Learning Lab. There will also be extensive, outdoor landscaping and grading at the property. The total cost of phase 3 is $115,000.

Center for Community Development - Hubbardston, MA

We have made so many improvements at our 8-acre campus in Hubbardston over these past 11 years. In 2020 we began repainting all of the buildings, upgraded our main office, are working to convert a single room meeting space into a two-story residential home, and are expanding two kitchens.

In 2021 we will be installing new carpet in our café building, adding two new bathrooms to a couple of our program spaces, and making major upgrades to our indoor “Sports Center.”  The estimated cost of these projects is $180,000.
